JOB OBJECTIVE
The role encompasses all aspects of HSEQ management with a strong focus on a proactive management approach and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop risk assessment and HSE plan for projects
- Support with the development of required HSE documents for projects
- Induction of team members
- Coordination of both internal and external audits.
- Support the designing and implementation of HSE procedures
- Incident tracking and investigation
- Contribute to the HSEQ approach to technical offers.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and review of the company’s HSEQ management system
- Serves as ISO Coordinator for the company
- Support the design and implementation of HSEQ policies, objectives, and targets
- Inspect work sites and ensure HSE compliance during projects
- Periodic reporting of HSEQ performance
- Compile reports from HSE officers at different geographic areas where applicable
- Coordinate periodic SWOT analysis, updating of risk and opportunity log and general risk management at different process levels.
- Coordination of In-house training.
- Development of HSEQ policies, procedures and programs
- Development of management systems
- Implementation of management systems
- Monitor, track and report HSEQ performance periodically.
QUALIFICATION/SKILL REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Sciences
- Master’s degree in safety, health, and environment
- 5-7 years proven experience
- NEBOSH IGC 123 Certification
- ISO 9001:2015 Certification
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Sound Audit experience and knowledge of ISO management systems
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
- Willingness to travel and work in both rural and urban locations.
- Must have good presentational skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
