Job objectives: Havenhill Synergy is a clean-tech utility company that uses Solar Energy to generate clean, safe, cost-effective and sustainable electricity in rural and urban Nigeria. Havenhill is set to scale up her “end blackout” projects in rural communities by establishing several solar hybrid mini-grids and developing significant footprints in the commercial and industrial space.
As our HSE Adhoc team member, you are expected to work temporarily on worksites during projects to ensure that the health and safety of team members are preserved at all times.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Implementation of risk assessment and HSE plan for projects
- Enforcement of HSE compliance on worksites
- Worksite set up and inspection
- Implementation of HSE Procedures
- Induction of team members during projects.
- Administration of first aid and emergency response coordination
- Near miss recording
- Implementation of HSE policies, objectives, and targets during projects
- Coordination of toolbox talk during projects
- Daily reporting of HSE performance
Qualification/Skills required
- HND in Engineering or Sciences
- 6 months- 1 year proven experience as an HSE Officer
- HSE level 1,2 & 3 certification
- Experience in writing HSE reports

- Willingness to travel and work in different locations.

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
