HAVENHILL SYNERGY WINS 2018 JOINT ALL ON – USADF OFF-GRID ENERGY CHALLENGE

We are delighted to be one of the winners of the 2018 joint All On – United States African Development Foundation (USADF) Off-Grid Energy Challenge. Winners were announced at the Nigerian Off-Grid Energy & Innovators Summit 2018 held at the All On Office in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The grant funds awarded by USADF is part funding for the deployment of a 40kW Solar mini-grid at Yebu Community, a rural community in Abuja. Yebu is within a cluster of 5 rural communities in the Kwali-Kuje region that we plan to electrify. We have already deployed solar mini-grids to two of the communities (Kigbe in 2017 and Kwaku in 2018) serving about 4,000 population. This project will serve the energy needs of over 2,000 people living in the community. It will also reduce about 58.4 Tons of CO2 emissions per year.
